Blanca wins "Water System of the Year" award for 2012
The award was presented at CRWA’s Recognition Banquet on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 during the 32nd Annual Conference and Exhibition held in Colorado Springs.
Main Street Beautification Project 2004 - 2009

Blanca's New Fire Truck
The USDA Rural Development in Colorado awarded the Town $25,000 to help with the purchase of the new fire truck.
Beautification Committee Awarded $284,000 Grant
Blanca's Beautification Committee works to revitalize the downtown area. The volunteer committee is recognized by ordinance as a standing committee of the Town of Blanca. It is the recipient of a $284,000 grant by the Colorado Department of Transportation for the construction of new sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and decorative street lights. To raise required matching funds, the town held a First Blanca Harvest Festival.
